Aim of the activity
To test whether a metal conducts electricity
Material Required
1. Dry cell or battery
2. Connecting wires
3. Small bulb with holder
4. Metal samples
5. Switch
6. Insulating board
Procedure
We set up a simple electric circuit using a battery, connecting wires, small bulb
and switch. We leave a gap between terminals A and B in which we will place the
metal sample to be tested.
Now we place a metal piece (copper, aluminium etc) between terminal A and B and on the switch and observe what happens.
We repeat this activity with different metal samples.

Explanation
